Documents needed for opening a bank account in Turkey:

Passport (proof of identity)
Tax identification number in Turkey (Vergi Numarasi)
Proof of address (it can also be any official bill like water, telephone, etc.)
If you have a residence permit in Turkey, that will speed up the process of opening the bank account. Well prepared with all the documents provided, the process usually takes one day.
