Beaches in Alanya

Unveiling the Coastal Gems of the Turkish Riviera

Cleopatra Beach

Cleopatra Beach is located in the beautiful city of Alanya, Türkiye. Every year the beach is visited by many local and foreign tourists. This beach is named after the famous Egyptian queen Cleopatra. According to well-known sources, the Roman commander Mark Antony of that time presented Alanya and its environs to Cleopatra as a gift. It is said that Cleopatra stopped in Alanya and bathed in its waters whenever she went on a journey.

Cleopatra Beach in Alanya boasts of its fine golden sand, crystal clear water and is awarded the blue flag. There are sun loungers, restaurants, buffets and showers for visitors. The beach is about 2 km long and there is a lifeguard on duty during business hours.

Alanya Public Beach (Galip Dere Halk Plajı)

This is an ideal place for families, especially those with small children. Located in the center of Alanya, Turkey, the beach is landscaped, all amenities are provided free of charge. For safety reasons, the municipality has installed buoys on a 200-meter section of the bathing area. Even though it is located in the city center, the beach is still suitable for children. The beach has a flat sandy coastline with gentle waves, free sun loungers and a lifeguard. SUP (Stand Up Paddle) lovers find this beach especially attractive, and in the mornings you can often see groups of people swimming in the sea. Here you can book kayaks and tours for those who want to explore the area more.

Incekum Beach

There are resorts whose name speaks for itself. Incekum Beach in Turkey is just one of these: translated from Turkish ince kum means “fine sand”. The coast of the resort is indeed covered with fine golden sand, while most of the beaches in the Alanya region are stone platforms. This is largely why Incekum is so loved by families with children.

The main Incekum beach stretches for 2 km, its natural boundaries are rocks descending to the water itself. And between these rocks there is a fairly wide strip of sand and coastal hotels – in general, exactly what you need for a lazy summer holiday.

Features of the beach The main difference between Incekum and other resorts of Alanya is the sandy beach and the absence of stone slabs in the water. Most of the beaches in this region are pebbly, on some the sand is loose, but pebbles and even stone slabs begin at the entrance to the water. And in Incekum both the coast and the bottom are sandy. But this is not the only benefit of the resort. Here are a few more features that make Incekum an attractive place for families with children: The beach is quite wide, while in neighboring Avsallar, sometimes only two rows of sun loungers fit on the shore. Despite the fact that the sand in the resort is as fine as powder, it does not form a suspension in the water. The sea remains transparent even with a slight wave. Due to the fact that the beach is located between the rocks, there are practically no high waves. In summer, the sea is usually very calm, in spring and autumn small waves can rise, in which children like to jump.

DelikDeniz beach in Gazipasa – Immersion in heavenly beauty

Gazipasa, an amazing city on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey, is famous for its beautiful beaches and breathtaking natural beauty. Among the many magnificent beaches, one of the most unique and breathtaking is DelikDeniz Beach. This wonderful corner of nature offers visitors an unforgettable vacation and experience, leaving a deep imprint in the hearts.

Located just a few kilometers west of the center of Gazipasa, DelikDeniz Beach is a real gem in the area. It attracts visitors with its crystal clear warm sea, soft sand and stunning scenery surrounded by mountains and greenery.

What makes DelikDeniz special? Truly unique is its amazing geological formations. DelikDeniz, which means “Problem Sea”, got its name from an unusual rock in the sea, which created a bizarre natural arch. This arch frames the beach and gives the impression that you are in a secret place, protected by gentle waves and surrounded by the beauty of nature.

Purity and transparency of water: One of the main features of DelikDeniz is the purity and transparency of its water. Due to the absence of industrial pollution in this area, visitors can enjoy crystal clear waves while immersed in peace and relaxation. The water is bright blue and perfect for swimming and water sports.

Golden Beach Mahmutlar

This beach is also located in Mahmutlar and offers visitors a beautiful sandy beach and clear water. The name “Golden Beach” comes from the golden hue of the sand, which creates an inviting atmosphere for relaxing and sunbathing. There are also amenities for visitors, including sun loungers and beach cafes.
